
Irena Gajewska
From 2021 to 2022, Irena Gajewska served as Director at the Polish Photovoltaic Association . Her main responsibilities included cooperation with representatives of public administration to create a regulatory environment conducive to the development of solar energy, in accordance with the principles of sustainable development and the country’s climate and energy policy. Previously, from 2016, she worked for the Polish Wind Energy Association, and from 2019 she held the position of Vice President of the RE-Source Poland Hub Foundation, working to enable industry in Poland to power its production and service activities with clean, emission-free , competitively priced energy from renewable energy sources. Currently, Government Affairs Lead – Poland at Lightsource bp.
In its activities, it conducts a constant, constructive dialogue with decision-makers, which aims to ensure effective cooperation between the central, local and EU administration, as well as other stakeholders, in the name of implementing Poland’s energy transformation in accordance with the Paris Agreement, in a fair and sustainable manner, with respect for the natural environment, the authority of local communities and to ensure maximum benefits for the national economy.
