Nick Byrne is a European Market Advisory Consultant at Hitachi Energy, primarily focusing on the Central European region. Since joining Hitachi Energy, he has been working on long-term power price forecast reports for Europe and advising a range of energy sector players on solutions available for market analysis, price forecasting, and asset valuation. Nick has over six years of experience forecasting power markets at a number of global forecast providers. He holds a master’s degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Oxford, specialising in nuclear energy, renewables, and thin-film superconductors.
